Here’s a Big Boi interview that’s new but not new-album related. The Son Of Chico Dusty answers questions about his personal preferences and daily lifestyle. This is a pretty good interview, and it appeared Big Boi hadn’t been previously prepped for the questions, yet he responded with sincerity. Check it out!
Big Boi gets some promo in and appears on the next issue of Ozone Magazine. General Patton discusses the music, working with artists, and his upcoming album Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty. There’s undoubtedly a diverse sound coming from the album, but for all of the waiting Dungeon Family fans, this is the closest thing to an Outkast album that we’re gonna get for a while.

This is one of the tracks that Marty was talking about earlier. Three Stacks murders it as usual! Check it out.
It seems like one half of supergroup Outkast, Big Boi will be reuniting with former employer L.A. Reid for his upcoming project: “Sir Luscious Left Foot: The Son Of Chico Dusty” due sometime soon, hopefully. Big Boi always made good music, even though he shocked fans with a couple of Gucci Mane collaborations. Dungeon Family heads have been feenin’ for some of that good ‘ol Southern Fried, soulful Hip Hop. Can Sir Luscious pull it off? Many people are hoping so…..STAY TUNED!!!!!!
One of my personal favorites off of ‘Aquemini’. With help from “The Ruler” a.k.a. Slick Rick, this track illustrated what storytelling was all about. Rick was a nice touch to the song, being one of the best storytellers of all time. Dre’ 3000’s verse was one of his most memorable, being both sad and uplifting. I must say, this was also one of their best videos. The puppets, 3000’s choice of wardrobe, and the concept all combined for a potent product. Rappers don’t make much music with long shelf-life anymore.
Southern legends Goodie Mob perform “Watch For The Hook” live at ATL’s Tabernacle. New music from this bunch would really kill the game right now. If some of these old heads were still consistently making music, a lot of these new jacks would have no position in Hip Hop. So be thankful rookies!!! Check out ATL’s finest in action.
This track off of the Nothing To Lose soundtrack was one of Outkast’s most slept-on joints. Surely a favorite among true Dungeon Family fans, this track never got much if any airplay. Take a listen…..
