Well it’s official Luda is back in the studio with the Neptunes. I’m hoping this one is better than Battle of the Sexes. I was kind of disappointed.
SN: Twitter has been booming lately with Kanye , Nicki Minaj and now Luda announcing album release information. Who would have thought 10 years ago that we would have this much access to what stars are doing besides from what we see on tv. The internet has really changed the game.
Shots Fired??? Wonder if Luda will respond??? Things might get interesting!!!!
AllHipHop.com: How much do Young Money artists bounce off each other? I noticed you have similar inflections and cadences or rhyme patterns. I noticed this one thing that Nicki said, “It’s going down. Basement.”
Drake: Well, that flow has been killed by so many rappers. And, I never want to use that flow again in life. [Laughs] I wanted to take if off my album, because I was like, “I shut ‘em down. Onyx.” I hate the fact that that rhyme is still in there. To be honest, that flow, you can trace it back to like…I trace it back to Big Sean (artist on Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music). That’s the first guy I heard utilize that flow throughout the duration of a verse. I’ll give him that credit. I think Kanye got it from him. Me and Wayne found a dope way to do it. I don’t want to sound cocky, but the best way its been used was on “Forever.” Those lines just all individually make so much sense. They’re all punchlines. Then a bunch of rappers started doing it and using the most terrible references in the world. I don’t want to offend somebody…I hate that rappers picked that flow up. I wish they had left that for people that know how to use it. [They go like] “It’s a parade! MACY’S!”
This may be the video for the remix, but it looks like the same theme as the original “Beamer, Benz, or Bently” video. I guess Banks is a fan of the saying “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.” The remix features Luda, The-Dream, Yo Gotti, and Jadakiss.

Luda steals the show as usual. Dope remix. Check it out.
Hot 97 radio personality Angie Martinez announced yesterday the lineup for this year’s Summer Jam. While singer Usher is the headliner, many Hip Hop artists like Drake, Ludacris, Fabolous, Talib Kweli, Rick Ross, and Juelz Santana are scheduled to appear for the anticipated event. Additional artists include Gucci Mane(?), Trey Songz, DJ Khaled, and Nicki Minaj. Who knows what surprise guests will be in the building, as the annual performance is notorious for having. Everything goes down June 6th.
Ludacris posted up at the Ralph Lauren store in ATL’s Lennox Mall to hold his 3rd annual Ludacris Foundation Fundraiser. The rapper teamed up with RL to design his own line of neckties to raise proceeds for the foundation. I know Marty Marr is kicking himself in the a** for missing this one! Bobby Valentino and Jazzy Pha came for publicity showed their faces in support of Luda.

Chris Luva Luva seems to be back on his pimp/player sh**! He should have created Battle Of The Sexes with more of this flavor. Give it a listen….
