“These suckas’ arms don’t reach high enough to touch the plane”
Mr. Jets Over Everything shows off the video for his freestyle over Waka Flaka’s “Hard In The Paint.” As I said before, Curren$y demolishes this beat and shows Waka Flocka how to really go hard.
“I get 5 mikes, you say The Source ain’t sh*t. If your favorite would’ve won, would you say the same sh*t?”
Talk about making a statement. Bun B takes to this years “A Milli” beat, to address his recent “5 Mic-ing.” He makes a good point, would people have gotten this worked up about it if The Source had given the award to Drake or Eminem? Probably not, I still stand by my original statement that while Trill O.G. is a great album, it isn’t a classic. For the record neither is Thank Me Later or Recovery.

Curren$y jacks Waka Flocka’s beat for “Hard In The Paint” and drops a nice freestyle over it. Not to knock Curren$y but anyone could outshine Wack, I mean Waka, Flocka. Check out Curren$y’s debut album Pilot Talk if you haven’t yet, its one of my favorite albums of the year.

Lupe Fiasco borrows Ricky Ross’s “B.M.F.” beat and flow for a new freestyle. I’ve been reading a lot of peoples’ input on this track; apparently you either love it or hate it. Personally I love it, Lupe has some ridiculous lines in this one, especially “For that BP, I shed 50 tears, In Nigeria that oil been spillin’ for like 50 years”. That being said, the lead-ups to some of Lupe’s lines are a little bit of a let down. Another T-Pain “I’m on a boat reference?” Come on, thats a little old. Overall this is an amazing track and if you don’t think so, we can see if someone can Dumb It Down for you.

Banks is definitely holding it down for G-Unit right now. He’s not the most charismatic of the mcs but his lyrics are on another level.

Banks is on point on Drake’s Light it Up track. In anticipation of his new mixtape dropping Lloyd Banks has been dropping new material left and right. He gets my thumbs up on this freestyle.
