*News* Ludacris named MTV’s #10 Hottest MC

Every year the “brain trust” at MTV sits down and names the 10 Hottest MC’s in the game. Ludacris is a great artist but already MTV has screwed up this list. No disrespect to one of ATL’s finest but Bun B, Fabolous or Wiz Khalifa should be somewhere on the list, if not the 10 spot. First Bun B had Trill O.G. receive a “5 Mic” award from The Source Magazine which created a huge media buzz especially on the internet, and then you have Wiz Khalifa and Fabolous dropping two of the biggest mixtapes of the year (Kush & Orange Juice and There Is No Competition 2 respectively). To leave guys like this off the list, and if the rumors are true, put Waka Flaka Flame on the list, is insulting to what an MC is supposed to be. Check back as the list continues for more proof that MTV knows nothing about hip-hop, and possibly music in general.

50 is making sure Banks cd does not flop! He’s pulling in some heavy weights for Hunger for More 2. I must say Kanye stole the show!

*Video* Fabolous feat. Red Cafe & Lorel – “Tonight & Love Come Down”

Fabolous has been putting in a lot of work lately to keep his name in everybody’s mouth. It was a no brainer for Fab and Red Cafe to team up. Lorel is one of Fab’s artists. It will be interesting to see how he will market her.

*New Music* Fabolous “Lights Out”

When Fabolous releases There Is No Competition 2 as an album, this is one of the 2 new tracks that will be on there. “Lights Out” is good, but its not enough to make me go out and but the CD when I already got the mixtape for free. With production by Lex Luger, this is a little bit of a new sound for Fabolous, and less “Funeral Service” punch lines than the rest of the mixtape.

*Tracklisting* Fabolous “There Is No Competition 2 EP”

This is proof that even hip-hop stars aren’t recession proof. I mean come on Fab, releasing a mixtape and then trying to push it as an album a few months later with only 2 new tracks?? Don’t be expecting big things when August 24th rolls around, seeing as we’ve heard most of TINC2 already.

1. “Lights Out (I Don’t See Nobody)”
2. “Girl You Be Killin’ ‘Em”
3. “I’m Raw”
4. “Body Ya”
5. “Body Count”

New Video: DJ Khaled “All I Do Is Win (Remix)”

This is how the original should have been, minus DJ Khaled rapping. No disrespect to Snoop but his flow kinda killed the song for me. The remix features Rick Ross, Fat Joe, Busta Rhymes, T-Pain, Swizz Beatz, Nicki Minaj, Diddy, Fabolous, and Jadakiss.

New Music: Fabolous “Mister Crocker”

Here’s a new verse from Fabolous of DJ Haze’s NY Times Mixtape. It’s out now so no reason not to download so NY heat.
