Uhh thanks Diddy? Didn’t we already know this like a year ago? Oh well, hopefully this means we can expect a lot more music from Red Cafe soon.

From Suave House to Bad Boy to Grand Hustle, these cats have been putting in work for years. Check out the official video for ‘Ten Toes Down’ from Southern rap legends 8Ball & MJG. Moniquethe1 brought this track to you back in December here on RHHS79, now the Tennessee duo brings it to you with visuals. Complete with flames, gold grills, dark shades, and street bikes, the pair have no trouble getting their point across. Still demanding respect and holding their own on the mic, Ball and G continue to stack hits and put it down for the South. We are treated in the latter part with a snippet of ‘Lay It Down’ from the group’s early 90’s catalog, reminding us just how long we’ve been rockin’ with these dudes.
Looks like Diddy and the Lox are back together. The Lox will release their next cd on Bad Boy. Diddy still knows how to throw a party!

Rapper turned reverend turned rapper Mason Betha, a.k.a. ‘Mase’ has finally been released from his contractual obligations to P. Diddy and Bad Boy. First appearing on the scene in the mid 90’s with former road dog Cam’ron, ‘Murda Mase’ quickly built a fan base with his patented slow flow and witty lyrics. In 1999, Mase left the rap game to work for the MOST HIGH. He started a successful ministry, a website, and completely left the flamboyant, fast-paced lifestyle of a Hip Hop artist alone, …supposedly. After being away from the limelight for 5 years, Betha attempted a comeback as a newly inducted member of G-Unit, only to have any hopes of a deal being met shattered by Puff’s refusal to release the Florida-born MC out of his contract for nothing less than 2 million. Unwilling to gamble on the ‘Bad Boy’ turned Good Guy, 50 just let the deal blow away in the breeze. Over 13 years after first appearing on 112’s hit single, ‘Only You’ with label mate Biggie Smalls, Mase has shown up again. He shocked Hip Hop fans earlier this summer by squashing the beef with Jim Jones and appearing on a track with Cam’ron. He recently popped up on Diddy while doing an interview on V103 and got his John Hancock for his release. Check it out……..
Mase was one of the hottest rappers out in the late 90’s, having a buzz similar to 50 when he was just coming out, and like Drake’s buzz is now. Even though he received alot of slack from critics claiming he was too ‘POP’ or radio friendly, Mase still held his own on the mic. Can he still deliver the hits?
