B.O.B. has made some big moves in 2010. I still don’t think he should be higher on the list than Luda.

Doing Numbers! Who’s Gonna Sell In The 2nd Half?

With Bobby Ray’s Spring success, Drake’s half-a-mil in the first week, and Slim Shady’s projected sales, Hip Hop has reason to celebrate. Don’t stop the party too early though, we still have more to go folks! We were kind of expecting Aubrey Graham and Marshall Mathers to do numbers, especially with the versatile sound the two are engineering. (B.o.B too) Now its time to see what the real bidness is. The second half of 2010 promises more high-profiled releases. Rick Ross, Big Boi, T.I., The Game, and other big names in rap have new projects about to be released. Who’s gonna do the numbers? Will T.I.’s brief absence from the booth prove to be his fate? Fuck A Mixtape made you say just that. Rick Ross has become the ‘Snippet King’, finding his niche with abbreviated, short-but-sweet, leave-you-wanting-more playlists of two minute songs. Can he deliver the same effect with full songs? The Game talks the talk, but will his CD walk? Rap fans on both coasts await Chuck Taylor’s return. Big Boi promises to have a dope delivery, but with no Andre’ 3000 or steady spins or overwhelming buzz, will the other half of Outkast get out-shined? I hope not. Support your favorite rapper….PEACE!

Video: B.O.B.-Airplanes feat. Hayley Williams

B.O.B. has this video on lock. Who pays for videos? Well he is charging 1.99 for this video that’s why it isn’t on the net.

New Music: Lupe Fiasco ft. Bruno Mars “Nothin’ On You”

In case you didn’t know, B.o.B.’s smash hit “Nothin’ On You” was originally intended for Lupe Fiasco. Now the audio for that original has surfaced. What do you think, who’s got the better version?

(News) Hip Hop And The BET Awards

Fabolous, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Jay-Z, B.o.B., and Trina are among some of the nominees for the upcoming BET Awards. Hip Hop artists make up half or more nominees in the categories of Best New Artist, Video Of The Year, Best Group, Best Collaboration, and Viewer’s Choice. Jay-Z and Beyonce’ (Jayonce’) are going head to head for some of the same awards(3), while Hov leads all nominees with 5 nods. Raekwon and Ghostface, who didn’t receive any nods, should definitely be nominees for BEST ALBUM, if there was such an award. Many rappers will obviously be absent, yet many big name releases are set for 2010. The 2011 BET Awards may be where its at!

Kanye is featured on two of the songs that are up for awards (Run This Town and Forever) but will he be in attendance? I hope he cops a front row seat because I sense some sh** brewing with these awards. Since I can’t be there, I need Mr. West to express my dissatisfaction for me. The show airs live Sunday June 27th at 8pm.
