G-Unit general Fiddy has a new flick coming out. Set to be directed by Hollywood vet Mario Van Peebles, ”Things Fall Apart” will also feature Lyn Whitfield, Mike P, and Steve Eastin. 50 Cent reportedly will lose over 60 pounds for his role in the movie, which is being produced through his Cheetah Vision Films.
Things Fall Apart, “centers around a star football running back, played by Jackson, who faces a personal tragedy as well as his own mortality while in his senior year in college.” reports COLLIDER.COM
In another portion of Game’s interview with Rap Up TV, he speaks on 50’s record sales and buying 17 copies of ‘Before I Self Destruct’, what Hip Hop fans are spending their money on, and how many albums he plans on selling the first week. The songs that keep getting leaked on the net have built up the anticipation for the R.E.D. Album, along with Game’s never-ending problem with somebody or another. The rapper claims he will be here for awhile, so prepare for the name dropping, old beef revisited, some calling out, ….but mainly some good music.
i actually like this song… remember this playing in the background at Floyds house when 50 visisted….wonder will joe buddens speak on this video…. hummm?
“But listen, dude’s so manipulative, this is what Jay do. I credit him for the moves he make but I’m nice at chess, too. They say he got a record [that's] supposed to come out, the remix to that “New York” shit. He poppin’ shots at me. He poppin’ shots at 50. But, he put Nas on the record hoping that a nigga will respond to it and come at Nas. Nas gon’ come right back. He’s not gonna hold no punches. He’s gon’ come right back. He should come right back, but look at the moves. I seen it.“
“I’m not worried about Nas. I did that, already. I did that already, in defense of [Jay]. I was there when dude was in the studio, on the couch, scratching his head under pressure.”
This might get ugly very quick…but we might see some history as well!!!!
“Well, the reports from Hits Daily Double, I don’t actually know what to anticipate from the actual sales of this project,” 50 told BET. “It’s obvious, the project just came out a month earlier than what was actually anticipated.”
“The actual project is arguably my best work, to have the general public respond the way they’ve responded to it,” 50 continued. “I haven’t heard anything negative about my choices artistically, so if I was in the space where I absolutely needed finances from the actual sales of the record, it might mean something, but if it offers the material that I can go out and perform and make everyone enjoy themselves as much as I enjoyed myself making it, Ill be happy with it.”
Yall know im a 50 fan, and its crazy too see that people arent responding too this album, is the the end for 50? I dont think so!!!!
Following the lead of other artists such as Soulja Boy, T-Pain, and Lil Jon, 50 Cent is hopping on the mobile apps train, with the launch of 50’s Sound Lab.
Via a partnership with Vitamin Water, 50 Cent’s free iPhone app allows users to create and share their own mixes of the rapper’s latest single, “Baby By Me,” off his new album Before I Self Destruct.
“Musical talent unfolds in many ways and I’d like to see what tomorrow’s producers can do with my track with nothing but a bottle of Vitaminwater, my 50’s Sound Lab App and an iPhone,” said 50 Cent.
50’s Sound Lab is powered by Moderati’s Romplr remix platform, which allows music fans the ability to create their own versions of artists’s popular tracks, by recording them and if you’d like, share the personal mixes across social networking platforms.
The app only gives you access to the one single, but is available for free. Download it at iTunes App store.
Also, 50 is holding a content for the best mixes, where the winner can enter to win a chance to meet 50 Cent himself. For more info or to share your mixes, head over to 50SoundLab.com.
