I don’t know…u think this is his way of showing he may be crying out…I dunno look like bruh batteling some demons and don’t know how to handle them. Especially on that end part…if you notice the woman comes in and states that it is going to be alright….so that is telling you there that he was looking for some type of comfort…..then it goes into the part with the knife and all….here it is showing what he wants to do in reality. He wants to separate the part of him that’s causing the pain, misery, the stupidity that he has been experiencing in life. He does that by cutting that part of him the rodent on the umbilical cord off. By Kanye giving the rodent the knife and it killilng itself is showing Kanye defeats that part of him. As I looked up a “hari kari” is an ancient form of Japanese ritual suicide performed by a defeated samurai, or those living in unbearable shame, seeking to die with “honor.” And notice the song that he chose to play in this short film as well.
